iwaccessmigrate error

We have migrated 3 content-stores namely migration,migration2 and migration3 from Teamsite 6.0 running on Solaris-8 server to Teamsite 6.7.1 running on Solaris-10 server.Using iwmigrate we created a new-store 'Production' from the 3 stores (migration,migration2 and migration3) in Teamsite 6.7.1. server. we deactivated the 3 stores and try to run iwaccessmigrate like "iwmigrate -m ".But we are getting the following error.

we have created all the users/groups with same gid's in both solaris server.

We dont want iwaccessmigrate to run for the 3 stores(migration,migration2,migration3) as the store 'Production' is created from the 3 stores only.we have deactivated the 3 stores (migration,migration2,migration3) and after taking backup we have deleted them.

Raam Kumar,

Check whether users are registered unix userids. If not remove their entries from uid files and then rerun the iwaccessmigrate -m CLT.
You will not receive any errors after that.

We dont want iwaccessmigrate to run for the 3 stores(migration,migration2,migration3) as the store 'Production' is created from the 3 stores only.we have deactivated the 3 stores (migration,migration2,migration3) and after taking backup we have deleted them.

Create them again as empty stores (using iwstoreadm -a), then iwaccessmigrate should be happy.

Thansk for your solution.I found some invalid user entries in *.uid files.I have deleted them and i re-run the iwusermigrate command to create a new tsusers.xml. After that i run the iwaccessmigrate with -o option and -m option.I edited the accessresults.xml output file created by iwaccessmigrate CLT for changingthe branch permissions like
to .
I rerun the iwaccessmigrate with -f option.Now i got a file called accessresults.xml_out which is similar to accessresults.xml.
But i still found the permissions on branches still set as rwxrwxrwx.
Is there any way to check iwaccessmigrate has successfully run or not.

Actually i edited the accessmigrate.xml to set the permission from permission mode="rwxrwxrwx" to permission mode="rwxrwx--x".But it has not been reflected after running iwaccessmigrate.

Dear RaamKumar,

You are right.. while rerunning the iwaccessmigrate -m u will again get a accessresults.xml_out. Even I am facing issues wrto retaining old roles when one OS unix group is getting associated to a branch. By default the same OS group is getting both editor and admin roles.

Can you also raise this as a case with Interwoven support?
Keep me as well updated please.

After running the toolkit ipl ,i'm getting the menus.but its visible only for master.How to make the menus to appear for all the users. i dont find role_custom.xml under /iw-home/local/config/lib/content_center/customer_src/etc/conf/customer

The userops will now show up within the Flex Roles customization interface in the Admin tab within the TS GUI when you're logged in as "Master" (pause-for-breath ;-)

Thus you now can associate this "attribute" to any of the roles that are already defined, or create a new role based on one (or more) of the pre-existing role(s) and add this new attribute to that - and then make the intended individuals members of this new role on the various branches where they would need to have access / have access to this functionality.

In general - it is far more flexible - but also fairly more complex and confusing to understand (at least at first)

we got the menus now after selecting the needed menu items under

Admin TAB -> Roles & permissions -> Manage Roles -> Custom User Operations.
