When I hit the '+' on the replicant the function paragraphReplicantAdded() is not being called (I put a simple alert in the function to check if it is being called).

Do you have other FormAPI code in there - that you can verify is functioning?
I ask because if you have any syntactic errors in your FormAPI code - it will be processed up until the error and then stop. I don't believe TeamSite provides any kind of feedback indicating that there is an error.

You can usually debug this by adding a bunch of alerts like:

alert("Begin Init");
...
alert("End Init");
...
alert("Begin function foo");
...
alert("End function foo");
... and so on ...

to verify that all the code is getting processed (alerts prior to the syntactic error will show up, but those following it will not). If this indicates that there is an error in your code, you should at least have a better idea of where it's located - but if need be you can re-position your alerts starting where the last working alert was - e.g.:

...
alert("Begin function foo");
...
alert("Call xyz");
...
alert("Do jxy");
... and so on ...
alert("End function foo");
...

Repeat / refine as needed.

Thanks for the advice, I had already placed a lot of alerts into the code to see if I could find an error section of formAPI. The very first line of the function I call has an alert which is not being called.

I'm not sure why the request was for the DCT (though it may help) - I think you would need to post ALL of the JS files being used by the DCT in order for someone to debug it.

Before you do so (which you may not want or be able to) - check carefully to make sure you haven't done something "silly" like use perl-style comments ('#') where you need to use JS style comments ('//' or '/* ... */').

I do most of my coding in Perl and I've done this to myself several times when switching over to work on FormAPI code.

I assumed the JS part to be inside the DCT as well which is not in this case.
