Tinymce wrap issue.. textarea size changes ??

hi i don't know if any one of you have encountered this problem but , i want to use Tinymce as our DCTs editor. below is the textarea

textarea cols="80" rows="25" external-editor="tinymce" external-editor-config="rdcustom" wrap="off"/>

the editor is appearing just fine and when entering any content to the text area for the first time the textarea size looks the right size,

however, after saving the dcr and opening it the next time the text area size changes and gets smaller.

i tried to change
this.defParam("nowrap", false); to =>
this.defParam("nowrap", true);

in tiny_mce_src.js file and also changed the same parameter in tiny_mce.js with no success???

any ideas why this is happening? is it TS issue or Tinymce issue.

it is been over 7 or 8 months since. so if i am correct yes we were able to fix it.

i think it was a bug within teamsite 6.7.1 . we received a patch for it and that did the trick . so contact Interwoven support they may be able to help you with that. i wonder what version of TS do you have is it 6.7.1 or 6.7.1 sp1. may be it was fixed in the sp1

well i was not working as TeamSite Admin at the time so i really dont know what was the patch number etc. but i believe in a meeting that we had with some folks from Interwoven i mentioned this issue and one of Interwoven engineers said that must be a bug and advised our TS admin to contact support regarding this issue.

i believe in 2 weeks interwoven then sent a patch which fixed the problem. this is what i recall. it is been over 7 months and i dont work for that client anymore to ask the admin about it. again go and contact support or have your admin do so and explain the issue.

by the way TinyMCE was problematic at the time. it kept striping certain tags that the authors used to put. i believe because it is XHTML compatible. it is still not mature enough compared with VFE yet at least.

I suppose you need to configure it to retain certain tags and tinymce does not come configured with the default html set by default.

Hi All,
Im facing the similar issue like,Im calling an ipl from datacapture.cfg where the form items are there and in the textarea field im using the attribute external-editor="tinymce" and no more customisations.

The textarea is extending towards the longside of the form. Is there any attribute so that i can restrict the width. I tried with width parameter.But no use.
