Invalid workflow

This is the scenario - From java application a .cgi file is being called which is having a button to start workflow. When this button is clicked it shows that iwwt_instantiator.cgi is being called for starting workflow, but I get "Invalid workflow" popup.
What can be possible reasons behind "Invalid workflow" error popup while starting a workflow?
I would be grateful if any information or suggestions are provided.

The first and the foremost.. would be invalid Xml structure of the workflow. However, being said that... without seeing to the code no one can guess the issue reason.

Is there any way to debug the WFT using CLT so as to identify the missing tags.?

Hi,

I don't remember any such CLT for debugging a wft file.
However, you can check for the missing tags by opening the xml format of the wft file in a IE which will show you the xml format if the all the tags are formed well, else will show an error.

Hi one things that you can try is that you could Open the WFT in a DEBUG Mode , then when you would click Start Job , yu would get a Screen showing i different colors.

The error part would be showing in RED.

You could use this for Debugging.

Or you could create a Job Instance file and then Run it trrough a CLT.
