When I run the iwupdate CLT on a whole workarea, and there are conflicts, no files get updated.

When I click Get Latest on a workarea from the GUI, and there are conflicts, it provides me with button options... "Overwrite Selected" or "Cancel". If I click Cancel the conflicts still remain but files that are not in conflict get updated.

How can this be done via command line?

Purpose:
I have BU's that create conflicts all the time. When I have to release code to the BU's branch I have to update all their WA's. I add & submit from the Admin WA and then do a iwupdate on all the other BU's WA's. It would be to time consuming to try and update just the "code" files.

Have you tried reading the CLT manual - or just reading the output of iwupdate -h?

Your question is confusing, if you want it tp be interactive, you use the GUI. If you want ot automate then iwupdate will work.

Basicly I'm looking for a "skip conflicts" option with the iwupdate CLT (or another CLT that provides this possiblity).
With the iwupdate CLT if you use it on a worakrea and there are coflicts you must use one of the overwrite options otherwise nothing gets updated.

This is not true when using the GUI. When you hit the "Cancel" button after a "Get Latest" on a workarea it updates all the files and levaes the conflicts.

As I believe I now understand what you were trying to do - I don't believe the iwupdate CLT provides that functionality (it would make a good feature request though) - instead I think you'd have to use two CLTs and process the output in-between.

Something like using iwcmp first - and if a file is indicated as being modified in both locations - remove it from the list of files to be processed by iwupdate, which you would run afterwards on all the files that were indicated as being modified in only one of the two areas being compared.
