TeamSite Login screen customization with URL commands

Hi All,

We are trying customizing the TeamSite Login screen for first time login users.

We are using the URL commands for default role and content center, If we are sending the directly TeamSite URL like (http://TS_SERVER_HOST_NAME/iw-cc/command/iw.ui?iw_which_ui=ccpro&iw_role=editor) working fine.

But we do need to support through template an e-mail also.

If we are sending below link without URL Command (/iw-cc/previewfile? ). It will take us to View DCR, that’s fine.

http:// TS_SERVER_HOST_NAME /iw-cc/previewfile? vpath=/default/main/../internet/../Projects/test_project/WORKAREA/workarea/templatedata/Project_Templates/Photos/data/Photos

If we are sending with URL command(/iw-cc/command/iw-ui?iw_which_ui=ccpro&iw_role=editor&previewfile?). After login into TeamSite it’s taking us to Workarea, not into View DCR.

Please advise how can we achieve this?

Any one came across similar issue?

Have you tried:

http:// tsserver/iw-cc/previewfile?vpath=/default/main/.../data/Photos&iw_which_ui=ccpro&iw_role=editor

I'm just guessing - haven't tried this myself

I'm assuming you are running pre TS 6.7.x;
iw_role url param is no longer applicable in TS 6.7.x because of flex roles.

Anyhow, I am not sure it's clear what you are trying to do - care to explain in more detail?

We are sending the Templatedata e-mail link to user, If user clicks an e-mail link, it should take to preview or edit the DCT or If its first time user, its taking to login page default values( Content Center(iw_which_ui=ccpro) and Role(iw_rple=editor) and after login , it should take to preview or edit the DCT, but its not taking to preview or edit the DCT. Its taking to Workarea.

- Unless it's a typo you have syntax problem in your URL.

- iw-role parameter is not exposed, see Interwoven® User Interface CustomizationGuide
In your case supported syntax would be something like:

http: //TSServer/iw-cc/previewfile?vpath=FileVPath&iw_which_ui=ccpro
