Help with CSSDK (Sample Java Code)

I'm trying to write a standalone java application to connect to the teamsite server. For this purpose I didn't install the CSSDK client in my desktop(since CSSDK client is not supported for Windows XP). Instead I tried using the CSSOAPFactory in my sample java code. But got the following error. Any help is really appreciated. I'm trying to solve this for the last 3 or 4 days.

Make sure you have these CSSDK jar files in your classpath axis.jar, commons-discovery-0.2.jar, commons-logging-1.0.4.jar, cssdkiface.jar, cssdksoap.jar, jaxrpc.jar, jstl.jar, log4j.jar, saaj.jar, standard.jar.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Now I'm able to run the HelloWorld sample CSSDK java application which creates the factory object. But I'm getting the following error when I tried to run the CreateClient which creates a client object. Do you know if I can run this application from my desktop which runs on XP. Do i need to install the cssdk client to run the createclient sample java application. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

No you don't need to install CSSDK client to run the java app. As long as the classpath setting are correct you should able to run it on XP. I was able to run CSSDK code on my XP desktop without any problems.

Hi Thanks a lot for your reply regarding XP compatibility. Where can I download the jar files like the cssdksoap.jar required to run the java app for using the CSSDK. Is there any documentation which lists all the jar files.

The cssdksoap.jar file is inside of the CS SDK client installation files. Download it from the support site and install it on your computer so you can get the required jars.

Thanks for your reply. I tried installing the CSSDKClient in my laptop and it failed to instal. The installation logs says that the CSSDKClient client is not supported for XP (eventhough the release notes says it is supported for XP).

If you have access to the TeamSite server, just go to iw-home/cssdk directory, and copy over all jar files to your client machine. Then put them all in your classpath.
