FindServerByName with TeamSite and Unrecognized Teamsite version error in Open Deploy

Hi all
I m facing the following error, when i m trying to deploy using Teamsite Comparison Deployment.

ERROR: Failed FindServerByName with TeamSite
LIB: 2007-05-27 15:50:51 ERROR: Unrecognized Teamsite version

I looked in some previous thread and found dat i hav to add a line in deploy.cfg which is,

teamsite.version: 6.7.1

But even after adding this line i m getting the same error.
Do we hav to do something else other than the addition of the above line?

did you restart OD or run iwodserverreset after you made the config change ?

yes i have restarted server by iwodserverreset also restarted od60 services then admin and then snmp services to update the changes
but its still giving the same error

My mistake, i should have asked for the deployment configuration and not deploy.cfg.
Please send your deployment config xml file, also let me know how you are invoking this. Also confirm, you are using OD 6.0.1 and not 6.1.0.??

Hi ,

You are using teamsite 6.0.1 in which "teamsite.version" is not required. The requirement to put "teamsite.version:" starts from OD 6.1.0. (i am not 100% sure)
There are some issues with TS 6.7.1 and OD 6.0.1
Let someone confirm this, or you can check in the release notes for 6.0.1.

In case of teamsite comparision deployment, dont use directory instead use teamsite area:
dont use:
"Y:\store2\main\www\EDITION\test_latest"
use:
"/default/main/www/"

Sorry buddy for causing confusion, i always worked on Sun so blindly wrote /default/main. Both should be fine in your case.

Let me try and replicate this and will come back to you.
