Preview Not working

Hi ,

I am aware that this topic has come up again and again , But still its working for me .

I Have a Prod and a DEV Box. In Prod the Preview of Images and .html are happening fine. But in DEV things are not happening.

i tried ./iwproxy -d

but it gave me the same result in DEV as well as Prod Box (Excluding the server names).

In Both my boxes I have not used [iwproxy_remap]
So why this is happening,The URL that is generated is as below

http://10.200.154.223/iw-cc/command/iw.group.preview_file?vpath=//sun5/default/main/bp_internet/globalbp/globalbp_uk_english/about_bp/WORKAREA/working/footer.html

What else need to be configured for it .

If any one has Done a installation on either a Unix Box (Just the Default TeamSite ) and then configured the preview then let me know,

Hi ,

I dont Know whether this is the best way , But it helped me

1) First I installed apache on my Server.
2) Opened the httpd.conf file and changed the DOC Root to my Teamsite Y: Drive.(Mount Point). Also I changed the Port n to 8888.
3) In iw.cfg I put the below entry

[iwproxy]
iwproxy_host=localhost
customer_webserver_host=localhost
iwproxy_port=1080
customer_webserver_port=8888 (Note Change the Port as per you Apache Installation)

[iwproxy_preconnect_remap]
_regex=^/iw-mount/(.*)=http://localhost:8888/$1

Then I did a iwrest -a . Then the Preview of Assets as well as Generated Pages were Happening.


If this is not working for you then pls see the Logs of Apache . This would also help you in finding the Problem .

If there is some better alternative then pls let me know.
