Submit log report

In the Teamsite GUI, it's possible to click on an edition and then select "submit log" that displays all the new files that were submitted into the edition. Has anyone figured out a way to export a report from this same data? I know Interwoven offers an add-on module called TeamSite ReportCenter for this purpose, but it costs 50k. Thanks.
