WorkSite MP 4.x and Sun JRE 6

WorkSite MP 4.x only allows the use of Sun JRE 1.3, 1.4 or 1.5 or MS JVM. If you have 1.6 (also known as JRE 6), it will fail the browser check and disable the applet if you click OK on the warning screen.

You can modify bcheck.js to add "1.6" in the list so that it will not create the cookie that disables the applet and brings up the warning thereby allowing you to get in and use the applet with JRE 6 installed.

Has anyone tried this in their production environment successfully? If so, did you encounter any issues?

Modified the javascript file to accept 1.6 and no problems to report in the first week.
