page regeneration

I am facing a peculiar problem. On editing a page (and so changing the DCR), changes are reflected in the preview. However, on regenerating the page, the changes are not reflected . any clues as to where the problem could be?

you have to try to narrow down the problem. Is the file being changed ? Is there a permissions issue ? A cache issue ?

There could be a number of things happening here, you need ot narrow it down some first.

I'm guessing caching is most likely, either on your browser, or most likely in the webserver. Did you look at the generated file directly via filesystem (nfs or Y:\ )

You really should be adding more info like
(1) your server environment
(2) whether there was any error message, or not

There was no error message displayed after file regeneration. Yeap the changes were reflected when i looked at the files regenerated directly via filesystem. And not when the file was opened via the content centre interface. On doing an iisreset on the server, changes were visible throught he interface. Thank you Smiley Happy
