Uploaded InDesign files have no associations

I created a document where I dragged 4 images from search results into the document. When i uploaded it back into mediabin it recognized the 4 images, created the PDF. I went into the web client interface and clicked the associations tab but its blank.

Shouldn't the image assets that I dragged in be associated automatically?

I am afraid that this is not part of the current functionality of the Plug-In. We are aware of the request and it will certainly be considered in future iterations.
