Hi,

TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1 is currently targeted for late Q2 of 2007. In that release, we will have the new iframes support for FormsPublisher.

We will probably have a webcast in Q2 discussing new features. Is there a particular feature or fix you are interested in?

Thanks,

Heather

I'm particularly interested in any up and coming changes to user/group management, specfically whether there will be an alternative to leveraging OS users/groups in a non-LDAP environment.

Hope that makes some sense!

In 6.7.1 SP1, we will remove reliance on OS accounts to create and manage TeamSite users for both Unix and Windows. We will support users either from LDAP server configuration or from external data sources provided through a URL (both http and https).

Thanks. Please let me know if you have any further question.

Hello

Any news on 6.7.1 SP1?

Thanks

nipper

It is in Beta which will be ending fairly soon. I am certain Sunil or Heather will post, but I would not be surprised to see it in mid to late August. I have the Beta and it has been quite solid.

Thanks Andy - appreciate the reply.

We are scheduled to ship TS 6.7.1 SP1 in mid-August. As Andy pointed out, we are wrapping up Beta and are currently heading towards our final test cycles.

Thanks for the update Sunil.

perhaps a more complete/final change list for this SP1 can be posted?

Is there some documentation available with more information what "external data sources provide through a URL" means?

Hi Meili,

Can you elaborate on how Teamsite will be able to use user information from "external data sources provided through a URL (both http and https)"? How does this work? What are possible external data sources? We are looking at swapping out the security handler from local to LDAP but wanted to understand what other options are available with SP1.

Thanks,
Phil

We are also waiting for TS 6.7.1 SP1 release pretty eagerly.
That is for handling the issue where the TS 6.7.1 backing store on Linux can not be NFS mounted on other Linux server.

Please keep us posted about the release.
