XMP Metadata not downloaded via InDesign plug-in

I have correctly setup the XMPmapping.xml file and tested it with some photoshop files. I have tagged the same fields of an InDesign document that was uploaded via the plug-in and the XMP data is not visible at all within the InDesign file info section. I tried downloading the file using the none task and opening it in InDesign but it was not recognized correctly. I tried double clicking the file from the search results within InDesign and opened up the file info data and the Advanced area doesn't even show the mediabin namespace I added "http://ns.interwoven.com/mediabin/1.0"

Is this a bug or a feature not implemented/supported?

If I understand the use case, currently metadata inside the InDesign document is split out to make it visible within MediaBin, but on the outgoing side, the plug-in simply requests the original binary file and does not attempt to merge in metadata changes.

We are, however, looking for ways to improve the plug-in and I will certainly add this capability to the wishlist.

Sounds good. If we are taking feature requests in this forum I would like to:
- Choose multiple locations of where to upload new assets into when uploading a document. Right now, if I add some local assets (fonts, etc.) to the InDesign document, the plug-in only allows selection of one place to put all assets.

- Have a better way to let the user choose the target directory. For a large repository the drop down is a bit tough to use, plus once selected the actual directory name is chopped off.

There are some bugs with it to (mainly the insertion of extra blank pages), as I have noted in my other posts. Hopefully those can be addressed too.
