*External Exception* while previewing a component which gets value from database

Hi,

We have a component which passes parameter and retrieves value from database and display in the component. For that we have placed the necessary jar files in the respective folders and also we have specified the jar file in the classpath variable.Then also we are not able to pass the parameter from the component to the java file invoked.when we see the log file we found that the method name and the object name which we specify in the component is passed as null.Please help us with a sample component which works using a java file where the database connection is made.We need to resolve this very urgently please help us.
