Find the job ID of a task programmatically

I am trying to fix a workflow database issue. Is there way to find the job ID a task belongs to programmatically?

iwgetwfobj taskid will show you the specification for the task - including an attribute that indicates the workflow-id to which the task belongs.

Unfortunately, I cannot see anything like that in the output. I am trying to fix a workflow database corruption issue. Please see below for typical output from an invalid task.

Workflow object 885432 does not exist.
ID 885432 is invalid

i have ascript that checks for any workflow and any tasks related to it. and deletes it if it s older than few days... and i think this part will help with what you need... u will end up with a file "jobIds.txt" that has the parent jobs of all tasks, but remmeber that many of those ids will be repeated since some tasks have the same parent job. if you just want tasks ids without parent job just use "wfids.txt"

Your database seems to contain IDs of TS Objects that no longer exist. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do from TS Side.
TS Workflow Objects are not persistent

I am trying to fix this issue because whenever our users try to take ownership of any job, Teamsite Y drive will disappear and the the system crashes.

Initially, I was told that we would need to recreate all the jobs from scratch (Guess what my users told me ^_^ when I told them we might have to recreate 400 workflow jobs from scratch.)

Interwoven support later sent me a kb (https://support.interwoven.com/kb/kb_show_article2.asp?ArticleID=55893) that describes on how to remove invalid workflows jobs. I wrote a perl script to run all the commands atomically. But I have not been able to remove all jobs and tasks that are flagged as invalid. All the tasks that are flagged as invalid have no job ID information that I can trace back. I cannot remove two invalid jobs, either, because they are not in the system.

I have sent Interwoven support more files they requested and am waiting for their response. If any of you has experienced this issue before, please let me know how you resolved the issue.
