Hi All,In our current environment, we do not have any 'Preview' functionality within TeamSite. The way our environment set is, the DCRs are deployed to database (DD) and to target servers (OD). We have another portal team (JFP) which picks up the value from the database and forms the html/jsp pages on the live server. This way the user cannot preview the content (exactly as shown in the live site) within TeamSite. We have DCRs that collects values for attributes in html (eg. Page Definition, Link bulider, Menu builder). I am aware of PT which will help to do the preview. In order to have PT in TeamSite we will have to bring in the html, js, css and Ajax to TeamSite. Also there will be extensive communication to DB, as the value for each html attribute has to be picked up from DB, this will definately cause performance issue.Request someone to suggest a better approach for this solution. I am also looking into various option of having preview within TeamSite from my end. Regards,
A number of customers I've worked with have a Preview Server - and customize the preview functionality in TS to run the deployments to the Preview Server and then do a redirect to the Preview Server (if you have an explicit URL to use, great - otherwise they just redirect to the landing page and you have to navigate around to find the content you want to look at)
Hi Ghoti, I have an experience that when I redirect my preview page, the VA will not work properly, is that correct?anyway, I am working in TeamSite 6.5 SP2
