Access Issues

I have attached a screen shot of the error message that appears while trying to start a workflow in TeamSite.
Other than the user being added to .uid files, and being a member of the group that has access to the workarea, is there any other required configuration i am missing out on?
Also, are adding a group containing the user and adding the user individually to the .uid file equivalent?
ie, in the above example let corp\ugad1 be a member of the users group. will adding the 'server'\users group to the .uid files suffice ?

Have you checked the group permissions on the workarea?

What permissions this group has on the specified workarea?
Is the user a member of that group? TS Group / OS Group?
What role has been assigned to corp/ugad1?

Thats absolutely fine.

How a group can be added to .uid files. Its always user who been assigned with a role.

the specified workarea does not have the 'users' group in the permissions list.

Then, no user from that group would be able to initiate the workflow.

However, EVERYONE has access to this workarea. do we still need to give permissions for the 'users' group on the workarea?

EVERYONE group is mainly used to preview the files.

Morever, i suggest you to get training on TS or read out the basic TS concepts.
