TeamSite branch getting created as "nobody"

Hi,

TS : 6.7.1 SP2
Solaris 9

Whenever I create a new branch (below /default/main) it get assigned by the group as "nobody" by default, whatever user I am using. There is definitely primary unix group assigned to the user creating the branch. How can I change this behavior. I do not want to change the group permissions from the command prompt.

One more thing related to devnet search. When I tried searching for the keywords "branch group nobody". Devnet search is ignoring "nobody" with the error message as "short word". As you can see "group" is a shorter word than "nobody" is :-). How can we force these kind of keyword elmination in devnet during search.

I am wondering as in TS 671 the group for sharing happens at the workarea level and not at branch level.

The "Users and Roles" section at branch level is having an option "Inherit from Parent". If such an option is used then it will allow the parent branch's users to access. iwaccess setinheritance true/false combination should help here.

Yes its definitely get assigned properly at workarea level. Also the main branch (/default/main) shows root:root. The user is definitely gets assigned to the one who created the branch. Its the group which is getting to nobody. Is that everybody is having same assignment to branch. I was just curious if is the common behavior & what's the reason behind having nobody as the group.
