Teamsite 6.5 Integration with SAP EP
cheeku
Hi All,
We are currently using Teamsite 6.5 and we have start to using SAP enterpise portal for our sites. So we are exploring differnt options to integrate teamsite with SAP EP system. Can anybody answer few queries:
1. How diffifult it is to integrate teamsite with SAP EP portal?
2. What are the different ways which can be used to integrate Teamsite with SAP EP? and which one is most effective one.
3. Any reference documents or support site articles would be really helpful. So if somebody can give some pointers on the same, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

What exactly do you mean by 'integrate' here?
For a typical portal, you can either use cssdk to 'pull' contents from the portal itself, or deploy ('push') contents from the teamsite server to the appropriate database/directories on portal server.

Integration here means that i want to see teamsite content in SAP system so that business users can directly work in SAP system to make some changes in content and they dont have to go to teamsite.
Any pointers? i have heard that there is a interwoven product Teamportal which can be used for this?? is it true? any pointers on this integration would be really appreciated.

TeamPortal is a JSR-168 based integration that uses the cssdk to embed a number of portlets into enterprise portals.
There are releases for SAP, BEA, Plumtree and IBM. They are all built off the CSSDK, so you can extend and create them as needed.
