Compatability between IBM Websphere and Turbo

Just found Technote 002463

It says that TS 5.0.2 is NOT compatible with Turbo for IBM 2.1.0.

Please explain why, since we want to use this combination ;-)

Also, it does not contain TS 5.5.

Turbo 2.1 does not support TS 5.0.2 because TS 5.0.2 was not available when 2.1 testing occurred. Because we need to support the combination of IWOV and partner releases it is impossible for us to certify or upgrade the product for every release of either IWOV or partner software.

Since 2.1, we've released TeamTurbo 2.5.0V (Virtualization) which does support TS 5.0.2 with WAS 4.0.2 (there's no OOTB publishing to WebSphere Personalization like Turbo 2.1) and TeamTurbo 5.5.2 which supports TS 5.5.2 and WAS 4.0.2.

I understand your remarks.
However since we still use WS 3.5, we can't upgrade to Turbo 2.5 yet.
Since we don't want to miss bug-fixes/service packs for TS 5.0x, it would have been nice if the combination WS 3.5 and TS 5.0x would stay supported for a while....
Does "not tested" mean "not supported by Interwoven" or does it imply that we might get it to work?

It just means we didn't test that configuration and that we don't have the configuration setup for troubleshooting customer issues. I don't know of any reason why Turbo 2.1.0 wouldn't work with TS 5.0.2 so it might work for you but if you do run into problems troubleshooting will be more difficult.
