Launchpad getting opened in the same right side windowpane

Hi,

When I try to edit the file (say config.cfg) launchpad starts in the right side window pane of TS interface itself, rather than in the new window. Is there any configuration/setting somewhere for this ?

Thats the way functionality is suppose to be. By the way have you been using Teamsite 5X previously? If I remember correctly it use to happen that way in version 5.5.

Recently I was really swinging back & forth between 5.5's & 6.X's. Didnt realise there is a change in 6.X. Dont you think having a seperate Launchpad window makes better sense. Dont know whats the point in using menu option to switch between Launchpad & access folders/Files in right pane.

Is this behavior configurable ?

Yes I think a separate window makes sense.
No I don't believe it is [currently] configurable - however, I have opened a second window and switched it to the View > My Local Files so that I can have both views open at the same time ...
