DCR queries

I have created a DCR for a new article and saved it in the
data folder of the templatedata folder and then generated a html file for the DCR .now i need to make some changes to the DCR , when i select the News DCR which i created and click on Edit->Edit Data Record , i get a prompt saying not a
not a valid DCR, can any body help me with the steps with creating a DCR and editing a DCR

This will only occur if the extended attribute "TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type" is not set. Run the CLT iwextattr on this DCR or select "File-File Properties" in webdesk to check the attributes.

If you don't see anything run the CLT to set the attribute:
iwextattr -s TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type=categoryname dcrname
