TeamSite Variables

I need a list of all the TeamSite $Variables
It has been quite sometime since I have visited the code in our TeamSite application. But, I have just added a send email to the eventwatcher after submission of certain files. But, I have some problems with how submit event passes back certain variable - in particular the $file, come back as a number. SO, I'm looking for where I can find a list of the TeamSite $variables and how the behave. (Can not seem to find it in the documentation of the WorkFlow or TS Admin guide.)

Perhaps you're missing some context here?
I certainly am.
TeamSite doesn't have "variables" per se - but there are a number of places where variables do come into play (job variables, task variables, environment variables, etc.)
