Resolved conflict still says "files in conflict"

This is a strange one. I have a colleague whom submitted some deletes. As it happened, one of the files was locked resulting in a 'checked out files prevent submit' conflict needing to be resolved. She consequently unlocked the offending file and then went back to the task and resolved the conflicts by selecting "Overwrite All".

Normally, when this happens, the conflict is resolved and the task completes. Interestingly, in this case, after hitting "Resolve Conflicts" and then "Overwrite All", the task just repeats that it has a conflict. The task remains active, and nothing gets written to the log.

When you hit "Resolve Conflicts" again, it says that 0 files are in conflict. But Teamsite still thinks that it is in conflict?? And "Retry Submit" produces the same result.

Incidentally, the deletes did work and the deleted files are no longer in STAGING.

Any comments would be appreciated. It's not the end of the world, but we would like to know whats going on, and especially to make sure that our comments are preserved.

[Just to close off this thread]: Based on some discussion in another thread about "stale locks", I ran the iwstalelocks tool and discovered that there was a stale lock on a file (that does not exist any more) underneath the folder that was causing the trouble.

Running the iwunlock command on this file, and then "resolving conflicts" meant that my task completed satisfactorily.
