WFT Javascript Validation Issue

Hi Everyone,

I am attaching part of the wft code where I have iw_optional (Radio button yes and no) default is no. iw_reviewer is list of author drop down.

If I select no than iw_reviewer should be hidden and if I select yes than iw_reviewer drop down should appear.

Currently, I get iw_reviewer drop down selection whether I choose yes or no.

Can someone please kindly point to my mistake? or any help would be appreciated.

Some folks have managed to embed javascript code within the WFT to do the kind of thing you're talking about - but I seem to recall that it's kind of kludgy and difficult to debug.

Another option is to have an optional cgitask as the start task - and if they selected 'yes' - display the list in the cgitask and do the appropriate SetOwner calls on the task(s) you want the reviewer(s) to own. If they select no - have a different task as the start task (unless you were planning to have a cgitask to begin with anyway, in which case it's just additional code to the cgitask script).
