TS 6.7.1 I am setting up as defined in "quick_install_cssdk.html". But i still cannot get my sample CSSDk to work. Some one please advice as how to set the right path to make it execute.


E:\ContentServicesSDK\cs250docbundle\cssdksamples\cssdksamples\java\classes>java
 CSHelloWorld
'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I have a copied all Jar files as defined in the intall html. Where am i going wrong.

You do not appear to have the path to java.exe in your path. You can try the direct path to java to run or change your path to include it.

Did you install or copied the java program under samples directory?
You can use the full path of java to run insted of the shorthand form "java".
like C:\java_home\bin\java java.class.

I managed to run one sample CSHelloWorld.java. I am getting the following errors. Should i be importing the packages, if so where frm? Please advice. Here are my errors.

Hi ,

I think this is classpath, please make sure you have all the cssdk required jar files in your classpath variable.

Could you post your CLASSPATH, PATH setting that is used to run samples.

You should not add the cssdk libraries to the PATH variable. You should add them to the CLASSPATH variable

My actual CSSDK on C-drive

C:\Interwoven\TeamSite\cssdk
has all Jar files and folder of "docs", "fastcgi", "samples", "ssc6.5" and "wsdl".

My CSSDK sample on E-drive.

E:\ContentServicesSDK\cs250docbundle\cssdksamples\cssdksamples

this has all folders an install file html's and also lib folder which has all the jar files.

So please help me to set this straight.

I guess i am messing the whole path setting thing.

Based on the file structure try this settings if it does not work then you can add the other jar files and see if it resolves it

How are you setting your classpath if you set the classpath or path variable in the windows system properties you should restart your command prompt so that reads the new system variables.

What is the classpath when you do echo %CLASSPATH% in the command line. I think you should try to run a simple java hello world example first to see if the classpath and path variable are set correct.

Hi,

I was also trying to run the sample in JAVA, just for testing purpose and I got the same error, any ideas.. ???

I am able to run the samples/web services using .NET, which is thankfully my requirement as of now :-)

I think the problem is that you are using a JDK 1.4 VM.
You need JDK 1.5 to run the CSSDK 3.x
