one user freeze

We are having an issue where one user is experiencing IE freezing during navigation and creating new folders. How do I begin to trouble shoot this? The user's PC is standard company issue. I have verified that the user has java 1.4.2_03. Also the application, indexer, and web server's are running fine.
Which log files would help?

Assuming freezing users means locking the user. did some custom code written for this or it happenig while from the creating folder from UI?

Is it happening with only one user? did you checked with other users as well?

Is this users having proper accees to create folders in workspace, if you are doing thru the custom code and using one user credentials to perform the this operation.

The freeze was happening for only one user. Additionally, also only one PC. The customer could use other PCs without issue. Anyone else logging in to the freezing PC, experienced the same issue.
Our network technicians finally ended up unchecking Java and using the Microsoft VM in IE options. This has fixed the problem.
FYI all other PCs have the IE option set to Java. I don't know why this one only wants to use the Microsoft VM.

It probably might be the wrong version of the JVM. I think you should plan upgrading it to 1.4.2_09 or later. I wouldn't recommend JDK5 just yet.
