populating dropdown listbox from an oracle table.

Hi,
I m new to developing complex DCTs in TeamSite, and i m presently looking at the development of a template like below.

I want to design a template that has drop down listboxes - that gets populated from an oracle table. I m not sure how this can be done, - any pointers on which material/what i should read for this is greatly appreciated.

run an inline callout (in any language you like) that will query Oracle and buld the list. RTFM on inline callouts
