Hi WScott,

Can you help solve the following problem

1.) How can pass parameters from URL to the Livesite external object.

2.) I have seen in the following link
http://devnet.interwoven.com/forums_vb/showthread.php?t=16908&forumid=66&highlight=livesite+parameter+page
about $AJAX_URL which can be used to pass elements to the external object.

3.) What I am trying to do is pass the url parameter to the content xml in Livesite to enable pagination in the component.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

The LiveSite external object should get a ParameterHash as part of its method signatures. This will contain the HTTP parameters associated with the component, which should be declared as part of the component XML External section. There should be examples of this in the Developer's Guide, or look at the Stock Checker component for a simple example.
