Hi all,
I have to use an container inside a container & finaly I have to put all those in an rootcontainer.
How i'll do that in the datacapture.cfg & how to retrive those values in the tpl file.

plz put some light on this.

Hi Arabind,

I am unable to guess, why such a requirement is raised.
Anyways, if you are using a workflow to accomplise this, you can do so by fetching the values and creating an xml file as desired.
Then you can parse the xml file and input the values into your dcr within the desired fields.
I assume here that you are prepared for creating new dcr and their naming conventions, etc.
And your dcr container structure is constant with the number of nesting.
Then your can fetch those values from your dcr and to create your .tpl file in an external task.

For fetching the values inside nested container, you can use the extended path like IWDatacapture.getItem("/root-container/contA/contB/ItemName").getValue()

Unless I'm missing something here - this is pretty basic DCT/PT development work.

Have you taken any Interwoven Training?
Have you read the FormsPublisher manuals and the PT help files that exist on your server (your-server>http://your-server/iw/help/tst/pt)?

If not - please do so, try to resolve your issues yourself, and then if you're still having problems - post not only what you want as outcome - but what you've already tried to do as far as the DCT and PT are concerned.

Why don't you try creating xml through a flat file. Open a xml file and print the content directly into it, that why you can also handle replicant values.

Though this is not very recommended method but would solve your problem.

This is pretty basic functionality. As pointed out earlier, suggest that you read the developer guide... you should be able to do this without having to have a tpl as the xml output from a DCT can itself be pretty much what you need.

Also, please mention the TS version. and OS

I have to use nested iterations to get those values in my tpl files.
