Upgrading from 6.5sp2 to 6.7.1 - Manage Users Problem

I'm currently working on upgrading out TeamSite servers from 6.5 SP2 to 6.7.1. I just did the upgrade on our QA box (Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition) and everything with the upgrade went fine and I followed all the steps.

However, I run into one problem (so far, we're still testing out the upgrade) when I go into the "Manage Users" link under the Administrative tab and I click on "edit" for any user listed and my iwtrace.log file goes nutz. TeamSite keeps adding this line "Error getting Permission Entries from archive (id) 1" over and over to the iwtrace.log. We found this problem out because the iwtrace.log got to over 4gb and climbing at one point. This happens everytime we try to edit a user under "Manage Users."

I've done a search here and in the KB and found nothing relating to that error. Did I miss a step somewhere in the install(maybe one that's not well documented)? Anyone know what this error is all about?

You have to run iwidmap to replace the original SID values for your users and groups before running iwusermigrate.

Thanks for the response, but everything I've read on iwidmap is you only run it if you're moving between boxes and we're not changing boxes when we're upgrading.

This has been seen before and can indicate an issue with your iwadmin store. You certainly need to talk to support.

We ran into the exact same thing at BB&T. Applying Patch 3 to 6.7.1 and adding

use_adsi=no
use_netQuery=no

to the end of the iwserver section of the iw.cfg fixed the issue.
