Can someone from IW help on Case#1252104

I have been struggling on similar cases regarding teamsite search, with IW, since almost 7 days. I am not getting any response after I did testing as per IW's initial response/ecommendation; which I did couple of days back. I also had Case#1252103 open with IW, but no response since almost 15 days on that, so I opened another case, but no luck so far

I've been told that Interwoven Support has been overwhelmed in recent weeks; I opened a case 10 days ago, had to call after a week to get it assigned to someone, and still haven't had any response.

My search is not working properly

TS 6.5 SP2, Solaris

My search with initial branches I indexed is working fine
But everytime a user submits a file to STAGING, search is unable to find it, this happens even if he tries after 1 day or 2 days

In my search.properties, the wait time is 1 min, i.e.

# Optimal wait time before received events are processed (in minutes)
iw.index.optimalWaitMins=MINUTES

Initially I was made to create new branch, stop/start eventSubsystem and index+search by IW, but nothing has worked till now

Any suggestions out there, please help

Do you have anything in the index ? You should have a folder for the index, you entered at install. How big is it ?

Is this the first time you are trying to configure Search on that box or did it work before and just stopped working?

A few things to check -
- Have you configured search for incremental indexing for the branches you indicated?
- Is your even subsystem working without errors?
- Does the index service successfully connect to the event subsystem?

Please post your index log. It should some information which will probably lead you to narrow down the problem.

As I indicated earlier, the initial indexing I did when I ran the indexer for the first time is working fine, thus I do have indexer folder, and it is in G's the new content seems to be having issue

there is no log under iw-home/eventsubsystem folder, how sholud I verify that

How should I check that

I have attached my indexer log, if you see lines like "[15 Jun 2007 14:03:41,684] INFO com.interwoven.hunter.index.IndexChangeNotifier
(IndexChangeNotifier) - Index change notification sent to dmplus-ap15a.fanniemae
.com:6720.", this is because I am explicitly doing a iwndxrefresh branch CLT through a cron job

Event subsystem related logs will be under iwhome/local/logs

When you submit the file, you should be able to view the "submit event received" message in the indexer logs (debug mode) if things from the eventsubsystem part are ok.

Else check the eventSubsystem. Are you using the supported RDBMS. what is the database row count for the 5 eventSubd Tables and entries in the consumer table ?
