problem adding a user in TS 6.7.1

Aftre installing Teamsite 6.7.1 as Administrator, I have created a few OS uesr(Windows).Now when I try to add those user from manage User, On Find, it fetches the users from my organisation's domain, and not he local OS users.Whwn I manually add the user in Userroles.xml, then it works fine n users can log into the TS.

Any idea what could be the possible reason?
