Deleting Branches and Workareas ??

Hi,

I'm using Teamsite 6.5 on windows environment.

Can we delete any Branch or Workarea here?

If yes then how to do this and what kind of access we need to have?

Hi,

Yes you can delete both.
You need to have the role of an Administrator or above.

You can get a lot of information from the documents provided by IWOV.

I have got the proper information from Admin guide.

we use "iwndxpurgebr.exe" to delete a branch.

That's for deleting a branch from the search / index server - not for deleting a branch from TeamSite ... I think you need to look at the CLT manual (and perhaps go through some basic TS Admin training ...)

I still have not read the details of this command. I would surely look into details as how to go about this.
