How can I make a read-only for text box?

Hi.
I am using TS6.5 and OS is windows XP.

Have a DCT file in that one have Browse button next to Browse button have a text field.

How can I make a read-only for text box?

Means the textbox field should only fill when we click on browse and select any file.

Before clicking of browse or after clicking of browse the user can’t enter in that text field. The text box should fill only when we click on browse button.

Irrespective of users and roles I have to do this one.

If we login to application with any role it should work. Means not corresponding to particular user or role.

Can any one give me suggestions for solving of this issue?

Hi Raj,

I think you have to do that explicitly, twice at the time of form load and again after populating values into the text box.
Remember to set myItem.setReadOnly(false) before inserting values into the text box.
