Excel Launched from the Web - No WorksiteMP functions

Hello,
When Excel is launched from an Internet Browser, the application does not load with the WorksiteMP Integration Module Add-Ins. So if someone wants to now save the launched excel file, they would need to save it locally, exit excel and re-launch it from the desktop.

Does anyone know why this is or how to resolve.

I looked at the file type associations fro xls but nothing came across as to the underlying reason.

Moreso, if someone can explain how the intergration modules are launched when the app is launched, that would help.
