container item value

I am lost here, so putting this ..

how can we get the container Children value using FormAPI.
I need to figure out the container value at tht moment, like if I have max of 10, wht is the value of it.
I am on TS6.7.1

If you mean the replicant number then can use getName() this will return the complete path with replicant id as well e.g root/container[1]/item.

If otherwise please explain
