Library Manager Password

WSMP 4.1 SP1

Greetings!

The library manager in our system is password enabled. Unfortunately we have forgtten the password and every time we try to access the library by entering a password we get the following error message:

"No message found for Error 999."

Is there a way fo removing this authentication from the library manager? We would like to remove thew authentication and reset the password. Please help.

in case this helps, i know from configuration manager, if you right click on the library, there is an "unlock admin" option. this wont reset the password or allow you to change it, but it can allow you more attemps at guessing.
i'm not sur emyself but figured this could possibly help

Thanks. My issue is that I dont remeber the password. So if there is a way to change the password or remove the authentication from the library manager it would be great.

Hi ,
I know the solution for that

just got ot the directory of if ur in unix environment
mpserver/bin/unix/

and run this command
mpserver/bin/unix/./impmpassword

now i think u r happy.
