File Import deletes extended attributes?

Hello,

we have some submitted PDF-files with assigned extended attributes in our workareas.
If a user imports (Content Tab in CCpro -> File -> Import) a new version of one of these PDF-docs,
all the assigned extended attributes of this file get lost.

Does anyone know if this is a normal behaviour?
Perhaps there is a configuration option? I didn't find anything in the manuals...

My Environment:
TS 6.5 SP3 on
MS Windows 2003 SP1

Yea, this is configurable. It *used* to be set in the iw.cfg file. Now, IIRC, it is a component in the UI, so to need to read the UICG. Johnny had posted this about 2 years ago, when 6.1 came out. You can also view posts started by him for it.

I happen to have the 6.7 UICG open - which has a small section covering this on page 62 - I just checked my 6.5 copy, and there it's on page 57.
