On Unix boxes I tend to do a fresh install and copy over the backingstore, then mount it.
this is provided you do not want to migrate the store to the new format. If you do, we are talking some major exercise again
We are moving from one Sun server to another, both running the same Solaris version. The second thing we want to do is to upgrade TS from 6.1 to 6.7. The issues are as follows:Would it be better to upgrade on the old server and then move the complete setup (via tar) to the new server?ORShould we do a fresh install of 6.7 on the new server and just move over the content repository? Is it all possible to move the content at a file system level?Regards,Parser
