regarding CDATA

I am confused regarding when to use CDATA in presentation templates, can anyone please suggest me with this.

You should not need to use CDATA anymore. In previous versions of TST, they were required. However with the tags like iwperl the need has been removed. There maybe a case or 2 when you need CDATA but I cannot think of one off hand.

That completely depends on your presentation template parsing mode. Basically, you do not need CDATA directives
in "non-XML" mode. In the (older) XML-mode you must encapsulate malformed components into CDATA brackets, otherwise
the whole PT is malformed.
