Teamsite 6.7.1 - Solaris 10

we are getting the following error message dialog during preview.

An error occurred in utility daemon. Error code: 2000012. Please see details in iwutild.log.

Please advice on this problem.

What exactly are you trying to preview, is it an html file, or something else ?
What does the iwutild.log file states about the preview error ?

i am trying to preview a html output from DCR.

I can see following entries in iwutlid.log.

Well - uhm - if that's the end of the log file - and it indicates that iwutild was stopped on June 14th - and you're trying to preview on June 21st and getting an error about something to do with iwutild ... don't you think the problem might be that it's not running?

The errors message says Please see detail sin iwutild.log.
But i dont find any updations in the log file .
Well the iwutild.log file ends with these entries.so utild service is running ...

for errors you need to look at iwutild_cmdout.log file

I tried creating output file using iwpt_compile.ipl and its working fine.
I dont find any entries related to this WORKAREA in iwutild_cmdout.log

are all elements you are fetching from the DCR appearing fine? I think, you may have mistyped one of the elements and that will give you this error

The issue is now complicated as i am not able to preview any files in the Teamsite server. I'm getting the same error message "An error occurred in utility daemon. Error code: 2000012. Please see details in iwutild.log".i tried stop/start the Teamsite server and still the problem exists.

I just completed the upgrade from 6.1 to 6.7.1 in Solaris and started some template development and ran in to the same error.

Thanks it worked.

All I did was included the below lines in iw.cfg and changed the value from "false" to "true".

[authentication]
impersonate_without_password=false

But in the tech notes, it says to set "false" right, But it did work only when I set the value to "true".

any idea ?
