In TS6.7.1 how should we specify a particular role to user.
I referred to the manual and says to use Manage Users link in UI but in it I dont see any role option but infact I see a checkbox for a Master option.

Is there a way we can add a role to user using UI

They can be inherited. So if you have subbranches, then you do not need to. Otherwise yes.

if you are upgrading from an earlier version of TS, the migration script should take care of applying the roles and permissions on each branch to migrate your TS 6.5 and earlier information to the TS 6.7.1 methodology.

If you are on a brand new install, then you have one of two options - apply the roles to groups at the parent branch and inherit to the sub-branches. If you need different role assignments in each branch, then you have to do it one at a time (but you could use group assignment to make it easier).
