deactivating smart context editing

Shwethashetty

hi,

I am working in interwoven teamsite 5.5 version.
I need to deactivate, smart context editing in perticular workarea.
How to do this?

I tried the following snippet in iw.cfg file.
[iwproxy_smartcontextedit_allowed]

_default=yes

_regex= /perticular workarea/.*=no

But still i am getting the smart context toolbar. this code is not working.

please give me some solutions.

Hi,
perhaps you give us your complete regex to check.

Example (deactivate SCE for HTML-pages within one specific store):
_regex=/iw-mount/portal/main/.*\.html$=no

hi,

[iwproxy_smartcontextedit_allowed]

_default=yes

_regex= /default/main/folder/.*=no

this is the complete code snippet.

Well, perhaps you try

_regex=/iw-mount/default/main/folder/.*=no

hi,

actually i tried the code snippet what you have suggested, but instead of
iw-mount i had used iwmnt, still i am not able to deactivate the SCE. Is there any difference b/n these two?

i tried the following code snippets todeactivate SCE, but i am not able to deactivate SCE. please give me some suggestions.

1. [iwproxy_smartcontextedit_allowed]

_default=yes

_regex= /iw-mount/default/main/branch/subbranch/subsubbranch/WORKAREA/
folder/subfolder/.*=no

2. [iwproxy_smartcontextedit_allowed]

_default=yes

_regex= /iwmnt/default/main/branch/subbranch/subsubbranch/WORKAREA/
folder/subfolder/.*=no

Ok, perhaps you try to debug all the iwproxy communication with "iwproxy -d".
Before you start the iwproxy in debug mode at a command line, stop the running iwproxy instance.
The debug output gives you some more information about the active iwproxy rules and
the requests, which come to your TeamSite server.

Shwethashetty

please can you give me the code snippet sample to deactivate the SCE.
I tried the following code snippet, but still i am getting the smart context editing toolbar.

[iwproxy_smartcontextedit_allowed]

_default=yes

_regex= /iw-mount/default/main/branch/.*=no

Hi,
that's the way we deactivate SCE un the whole branch "ruv01" within a store named "portal":

[iwproxy_smartcontextedit_allowed]
_regex=/iw-mount/portal/main/ruv01/.*=no

Shwethashetty

i tried this syntax also, but it's not working. Still i am getting the SCE toolbar.
please can you give me some suggestions.

just a point,
are you restarting iwproxy/iw services each time you change the regex?
