parsing error when I try to edit DCR through html

Hello,
I created html file through workflow and the extended attributes for the html are set including the TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type.

When I try to click the edit button of the html I am getting the following error.

unable_to_parse_dcr -
//cciwts-dev1/default/main/eworkspace/WORKAREA/contact_center/website/advertising_specials/individual_promotions/coupons-store/mohamed_test_howto.html

Root cause:
Couldn't parse DCR bytes into DOM [unable_to_parse_dcr ]:The entity "nbsp" was referenced, but not declared.

I am not sure why I am getting this error.

I am not getting the error when I try to edit the DCR directly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think you have used within your content and while editing the HTML page it acts as unparsable code whereas while editing the DCR directly it gets changed to a space character.

Chech your HTML by downloading if you have any nbsp within the source.

Just to check:

You set TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type on the DCR, not the HTML file right?

Hello Darren,
I applied the DCR Type attribute to both the DCR and the HTML.

We have to do it to the HTML file otherwise Teamsite will not be able to associate this HTML file with the corresponding DCR type

Can you please tell me more on your requirement as I haven't come across any .html file to be set for TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type ?
How does TS associate the html file to a dcr if you set this ?

TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type is the single EA that must be set on the DCR. It should not be set on the generated page.

TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryDCR, TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryDocumentType, and TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryPT are the three required EAs to be set on the generated page.

You are right and that fixed the problem. I set the following external attributes and it is working fine.

TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryDCR, TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryDocumentType, and TeamSite/Templating/PrimaryPT

Sorry for my mistake. As you said TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type has to be set for DCR and not for the generated file.
