Sortable Custom Columns

Hey all, I've modified the CCSTD interface to have 2 new columns in the tasks list, both of which display strings which are taken from a task variable.

I've set the sortable attribute to true on both columns, and they render properly in the ccstd interface, and have a link which would suggest they are sortable, yet the sorting just doesn't happen. This is the entry in ui_custom.xml

Any thoughts?
