TeamSite as a LCMS using SCORM

We have started using TeamSite as our LCMS. So far it has worked better than I had anticipated. My developers have been just knocking it out. It is generating the SCORM manifest files. It build a pretest and completion checks. We are only using one form and now we can crank out new course just by setting up new TPL files. We were unsure how we were going to build self checks and interactions. I cam up with the idea to build TinyMCE modules.

So now any new interactions we want to build we are just building these reuseable modules in TinyMCE. I just thought I would throw this out there if anyone is trying to do the same thing we have come up with allot of cool ideas in making TeamSite work as a LCMS.

We're wondering how you're using Interwoven as an LCMS. We currently manage content using team site for our knowledge base and we're wondering how we can utilize it to feed content to an LMS.

Could we talk offline about some of the lessons you've learned and your set-up?

I am replying to this old post, because there is not much discussion on leveraging TeamSite to feed a LMS.

It looks like adogg had some luck with it, and if he or anyone else can share their experience and thoughts that would help.

I am thinking that DCTs + TPLs can be used to build a SCORM compliant package that can in turn be uploaded to an LMS.

The requirement I have is more challenging in that, it requires a forum based/ interactive LMS.. and any form of integration with the existing TeamSite platform would be a big plus.

Thoughts?

Not aware so asking wht does LMS stand for is it .. learning managment system. Please correct me if wrong.

I even saw some IWOV marketing guff about using TeamSite as LCMS. No, just because of interactivity I don't think it's possible.

I am exploring LiveSite and check if something like the LS blog component can help. But you are right the more I look into it the more daunting this integration appears.
