Can you post your screen shot here?

Did you get any error in logs?

I'm not sure what the screenshot will tell you. This is what we are seeing. The log OTFCLIWEBDEV1_odadmin_servletd.log only reports the following, which a knowledgeable colleague tells me he's seen before, and is not related:

**Message: Connection refused to host: OTFCLIWEBDEV1; nested exception is:

at com.interwoven.opendeploy.ui.OpenDeployAgent.getSecureService(OpenDeployAgent.java:343)
at com.interwoven.opendeploy.ui.ODAccessSvcAuthen.authenticate(ODAccessSvcAuthen.java:302)

Check the OD services are they running?

Try loging in as BootStap user, see if it works. Then try loging in as yourself and see if it works.

Check your OD.log file, see what it says. Does your OD.err file contain anything in it?

Is this happening to you today or was it an issue seen from quite sometime?

Let all know about your OD, TS and OS versions.

Thank a lot for your suggestions.

• Unfortunately, we cannot use the BootStap user to login because this account was created on the domain which was decommissioned some time ago
• The issue was only recently identified.
• We have OD - Version: 6.0.0.0.0 Build 36714 Interwoven 20040622 installed on that Windows 2003 Server.
• We are using OD on this server as a standalone tool

Summarising that we came to the conclusion that we have to

• create the BootStap account using the new domain
• Try logging in as BootStap user, see if it works.

if not:

• backup existing OD
• re-install OD admin service.

Unless you have other solution.

Well as a suggestion, if you are opting for backing up and reinstallation, take some time and upgrade to a latest better version. 6.0.0 is too old and not a lot of support can be expected from interwoven.

All you need to do is edit the ODHOME/etc/deploy.cfg to define the bootstrap administrator account and then restart the OD service - this will reset (actually, add) a bootstrap administrator to the service.

Then you can try to login with that account.

However, I'm not sure this will do anything with respect to the problem that was originally reported.
